Cold-Hot bath
Cool-X Cold-hot bath is a multipurpose and long-lasting cold-hot bath. Can be cooled in the freezer and heated in a water container, in the microwave and on the stove.
The bag is made of nylon, so it remains flexible even after cooling and is very resistant to wear and tear. The product can be disposed of as mixed waste.
Instructions for use for cold treatment: A cold bath is an effective first aid in the treatment of sprains, strains and contusions. Cold therapy reduces the formation of swelling and bleeding and relieves pain.
Cool-X cold bath should be cooled in the freezer (max. -25 ºC) for approx. 2 hours. It can also be stored in the freezer, so that it is immediately ready to use if necessary. Place the cloth between the cooled cold pack and the skin. The bag must not be placed directly on the skin.
Cold-high compression treatment speeds up the healing time and reduces the formation of swelling.
Instructions for use for heat treatment: A thermal bath is suitable for alleviating pain conditions when they are not associated with inflammation, e.g. muscle cramps and tension and witch's arrows.
Heat the bag in a bowl of water in the microwave or on the stove (max. +80 ºC). When heating in a microwave, you have to experiment with the right heating power and time, because microwaves are very different in power. Please note that dirt in the microwave (e.g. grease) can burn a hole in the cold-hot bag if the bag is placed directly on the microwave base.
Flatten the gel inside the bag and place the bag in a bowl of water in the microwave. If the bag is at room temperature, heat at full power for 1 min. If necessary, proceed with 10-second heating periods until the desired temperature is reached. If the bag is frozen, heat at full power for 75 seconds and then take a 75-second break. If necessary, proceed with 10-second heating periods until the desired temperature is reached.
